Anand's Story

Anand's (his local friends call him "Gundu") family lives in the holy town of Gokarna since generations. In the early 90's, when tourism slowly started to discover Gokarna, Anand worked as a cook and a pizza baker in Saudi Arabia.

Returning from overseas he directly jumped into the local tourism of his native town. First he rented "Flower Garden Restaurant", then he moved to "Surya Cafe", where he learned a lot about how to run a modern restaurant. Some tourists taught him how to cook italian food and other western cuisines.

In these years his wife Sunita gave birth to 3 girls (Bhagya, Nikita and Divya).
